All of our orders ship from our warehouse in Costa Mesa, CA — just down the road from our stores. We use UPS and USPS for everything, and at this time we ship within the U.S. only.
Here's the timeline.
1–3 business days
Orders typically process and ship within 1–2 business days. Weekends and holidays don't count.
2–10 business days
Once it's out the door, standard shipping runs 2–10 business days depending on the carrier.
2 Business Days
In a hurry? 2nd Day Air gets it there in 2 business days. Available at checkout for an added rate.
A heads up: during a sale, we may need 1-2 extra business day to process your order. We staff up to keep things moving, but big drops bring big love.

If something you ordered is on backorder or oversold, you'll get a text from us so you're never left wondering.
If something goes missing.
If you're tracking a package and it looks lost in transit, email us right away at orders@shopcommonthread.com and we'll look into it ASAP.
If the package is confirmed lost in transit, or if it was delivered to a different address than the one you gave us, we'll replace your item(s) or issue a full refund to your card.
If the carrier confirms delivery but the package has been misplaced or stolen after that point, we're not able to issue replacements or credits — but we're happy to help you file a claim with the carrier.
For returns: If you're shipping a return with your own label, you're responsible for it until it reaches us. We recommend adding insurance and a tracking number so we can confirm it landed. We can't refund returned items that are lost in transit or sent to the wrong address, and shipping fees are nonrefundable.
